Getting Your Articles Read
Writing your articles is the first step, you have to actually make sure they get read for them to help you! Unfortunately not all articles are going to be equal, and get the same level of exposure.
What can you do to get your articles read? Here are a few sure-fire tips:
1) Use short paragraphs. Long paragraphs tend to look jumbled and people that read online like things to be short and concise. They like being able to breeze over a paragraph if it is something they already know, so they can skip ahead to the good stuff.
2) Use numbers or bullets! This makes reading articles A LOT easier. It allows you to easily stress and communicate the most important aspects of each article. Heck, it also adds some flare and style.
3) Break things up into sub-headings. This makes it easy for your reader to move from one section to the next.
4) This is extremely important: Make absolutely sure that you have an attention-grabbing title or header. I can’t stress this enough! The article title is what people are going to see first, and what they think of it will determine whether or not they will actually click on it and read it. For example, here is a standard title:
10 Dog Training Tips
Sounds a bit boring doesn’t it. How about this:
