Creating an Article Outline
So you’ve decided to get into article marketing? The benefits are high, but it does require you to write a decent article. Don’t worry, it’s not as hard as it sounds. This article will discuss how to create an article outline, which will make article creation a snap.
One thing that I have found helps my articles really come together and be strong is first creating an outline. This gives the article an overall structure and is a template that I can follow as I write.
The first thing I’ll do is brainstorm a few ideas. I write them all down, regardless of how silly they sound. Sometimes this is enough to write several articles! Once I have my ideas, I pick the best and start researching them. Don’t worry, you don’t have to run to the library or anything, I just type up the search words on the internet and start reading about the topic I am going to write about.
Once I have a better idea on what I am going to write about, I start making up sub topics. These are basically the main points I want to cover in each article. I then finish by thinking about what the article is about overall, and what benefit it gives it’s reader.
That’s it! I now have a skeleton that I can use to whip out a high quality article rather quickly. I am sure to write an introduction, previewing and enticing the reader as to what the article will cover. I also end with a conclusion, where I summarize what I want the reader to take from my article.
Remember, these articles don’t have to be perfect, but you do want them engaging. Your first few articles will be your most difficult to write, but keep pushing. You’ll be a pro in no time!
